Eric Guibert studied in France, Germany and the UK where he completed a Masters at the Bartlett, UCL, London. He then worked at the award winning company of Conran & Partners, the design company of Sir Terence Conran. Following this, he became project architect of a large office development and a 500m long award winning airport building at Reed Architecture which he left to create sens in 2002.
Eric teaches Design Studio 9 at Westminster University with Camilla Wilkinson where they research the potentiality for improving the life of hard to reach communities in deprived areas.
They met at the RSA Summer School in 2004, a weekend of workshop for a multidisciplinary group of 30 selected young designers aiming at the advance of collaborative design practices. Following this, he organised further workshops with the support of the RSA and the Design Council.
Eric chaired the Small Practice Committee at the RIBA where he organised Guerrilla Tactics for 5 years, this is the Small Practice Conference, and largest event at the RIBA.
